Dear Heidi and Andrew

We hope you'll forgive the delays in this thank you note. Think of us as too self-absorbed in wedded bliss to notice that two months have actually passed since the wedding.

There is so much to thank you for that it isn't easy - particularly for two writers - to jot a quick thanks. You were essentiall not only in planning and executing our wedding but to our maintaining our sanity throughout the process and the day. We appreciate your attentiveness and input. The room was lovely. The service was trouble-free. And one of you was always there when we needed assistance. It is always a pleasan surprise when you find yourself planning an event with people you really like as people.

Both of you could claim some credit for the beaming smiles we wore throughout the evening. If we ever decided to get married again in New York City, we'll know who to call.
